What is Blockchain Valley Virtual?

Introducing Blockchain Valley Virtual, our fully-immersive 3D virtual metaverse, a recreation of our master-planned physical smart city near Sofia, Bulgaria. The physical city is built atop two million square meters of land in the region of Kostinbrod, less than 20 km away from Sofia. The smart city will consist of a business park complete with apartments, offices, restaurants, bars, leisure centers, and commercial offices on one plot of land, and residential areas and luxury villas on another.

Our appeal is simple yet foundational — the metaverse is based on an existing development with full usage rights to mirror the entire physical smart city in a virtual space. Individuals can acquire both the physical property, such as a villa or apartment, and the virtual equivalent in the Blockchain Valley Virtual metaverse. This enables completely unique experiences where owners can decorate their virtual space with NFT artwork.

In addition to these benefits, Blockchain Valley Virtual will provide the following:

Avatars
Individuals can create a life-sized digital replica of themselves within BVV. Users can upload high resolution photos of themselves which can then be digitally imposed to create a realistic digital avatar. This enables familiarity with friends and a more natural and accurate experience for participants.

BVV will provide a basic avatar creator for all participants at no additional cost. For higher quality life-sized digital replicas as depicted in the whitepaper, participants can utilize tokens to purchase NFTs that allow them to create these high quality replicas.
Virtual Cinema Experience
kick back and watch a movie with a small group of friends or in a movie theatre with complete strangers. Experience new theatrical releases in the comfort and safety of your own home while being immersed in the same virtual environment.
Virtual Concerts
Listen to your favorite bands live, in real time as if you were physically at a concert. BVV intends to work with the world’s most relevant musicians, bands, singers and performing artists to host live concerts at the BVV World Concert Hall and Auditorium. Blockchain encoded tickets in the form of unique NFTs can be purchased on the platform using BVV tokens to gain access to the concert. Participants can enjoy the performance right up front where the performer is using special camera views or enjoy a more natural experience based on their virtually assigned seating location in the auditorium.
Electronic Sports
Spectators can participate in live esports events and competitions just as they would in real life (IRL) but from the comfort of their own home. With in-game view displays direct to their virtual reality (VR) headset, mobile app or desktop computer, they can watch players directly on screen as if they were playing themselves.

They can also participate in virtual sports, and gym classes where they can receive realtime instruction from a trainer, while exercising in the comfort of their own home.
Virtual Reality Gaming
We will allow 3rd party VR game developers the ability to integrate with our virtual environments to create the own VR experiences leveraging our VR engine. We will provide a full suite of tools including a Software Development Kit (SDK) to enable seamless decentralized app integration with BVV.
Virtual Casinos
Players can bet and play all sorts of games of chance in BVV’s virtual casinos. They can bet and win in cryptocurrency including with BVV tokens.
Virtual Seminars And Conferences
Businesses, trade organizations and industry groups can host educational, commercial or corporate seminars, “town hall” meetings, panel interviews, keynote speakers, hackathons or other similar events using our virtual grand auditoriums and ballrooms. New Opportunities

While we try to avoid market anomalies forced upon by the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is hard to deny the impact it has had on certain industries. We highlight this because we believe the pandemic has forced individuals to expand their horizons into new industries that they might not have explored. While we forecast some retracement in this trend, we believe it has permanently opened up the doors to newfound possibilities that were unimaginable prior to the pandemic.

We have seen the usual lockdown induced surges in user behavior around certain online experiences such as streaming content providers (Netflix, YouTube, Twitch, Tencent Video), social networking engagement, and video conferencing usage – we have also seen an unexplained surge in nascent technologies such as NFT sales, decentralized finance and blockchain as a whole.

New possibilities of purely digital content experiences have emerged such as virtual concerts, digital art auctions such as Beeple’s record-setting USD 69 million sale, film premieres on streaming providers, the list goes on. Our belief is that these new doors are permanently opened and will continue to grow as development opportunities expand, a diversity of content emerges, and experiences become increasingly better.

BVV is a virtual and immersive world that is best experienced using a supported VR headset. However, in order to encourage maximum interactivity between participants, BVV will be designed to support an immersive augmented reality (AR) experience with mobile smartphones, as well as a desktop experience for both Mac and Windows machines. Decentralization,
Governance and Moderation

Virtual cities like real world cities need governance and rules in order to maintain a harmonious environment for all participants. However, a decentralized and permissionless ecosystem has the potential to invite bad actors and malfeasance. Thus, some form of centralization may need to exist in order to assure a certain standard of safety and a pleasant experience for all.

We intend to support a governance model that allows the community to vote on initiatives and proposals to improve upon the city. At the very least, certain user-controlled moderation may be present such as the ability to block an individual or certain types of content. We intend to explore this in the community in greater detail as the ecosystem develops

    As a long-time filmmaker and musician, Jesse spent most of his time in the creative space which led him to finding his passion as a high end, creative marketer. A Boston kid from the start, he eventually spent 5 years working in Hollywood until finally lost interest in the plasticity of it all that he decided to make a massive change, a Hardfork, and move to Asia. Jesse fell in love with Bangkok and has spent the past 8 years building his life and business there where he currently runs The Best Studio Co., a boutique production studio in Thailand.
